After setting the dyes, I rinse and wash my yarn in nothing but good old fashioned H2O - no wool washes or detergent are used. Customers with skin senstitivites to detergents can purchase with confidence.
Keep the hanks twisted, only winding them into skeins or balls as you need to use them. This helps to keep the fibres nice and relaxed. I recieve them as twisted hanks from my suppliers and retwist them after dyeing, washing and drying to make them easier to ship to you.
Garments should be turned inside out and washed in lukewarm water (approx. 30ºC) with a little of your favourite mild and gentle wool wash or detergent. There are lots availble online or in stores.
Some colours may bleed a little during the first couple of washes, as detergents and different water ph levels can affect colour fastness. This is normal.
